Privacy notice

When you request a booking, Shadz Automotive receives the contact details, registration plate, vehicle information, preferred date and time, and notes you provide.

How we use your details

We use this information to respond to your enquiry, discuss the work your vehicle needs, and arrange your visit. Sending a request does not confirm an appointment. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in your notes.

Email and website services

Your request is sent to the workshop by our email delivery provider, Resend. Website hosting and email providers process information to operate these services and may process it outside New Zealand. The website also applies technical controls to reduce spam and duplicate requests.

The contact section includes Google Maps. Google receives technical information such as your IP address when the map loads. Fonts are served by this website, without a separate request from your browser to Google Fonts.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and improve the website. It may collect page views, browser and device information, approximate location, referring websites and cookie identifiers. We do not configure Analytics to collect the values entered into booking form fields. Google may process analytics data outside New Zealand. Analytics is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

Google Maps and reviews

When this page loads, we request customer reviews from Google Maps if our usage allowance is available. Reviewer profile images load from Google when displayed. We do not save review text in our database; we store only request counts to control usage. Google services are subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Google Maps Terms of Service.
