Oil changes and scheduled maintenance
Shadz offers oil changes, lubrication and routine maintenance for all makes and models. The work your vehicle needs depends on its engine, age, mileage and service history, so include those details when you request a visit.
For an oil change, ask the team to confirm the oil specification, parts and work included for your vehicle. If your service book lists additional maintenance, mention that in the notes too.
Plan the right service for your vehicle
Tell us the make and model, recent service history and anything that has changed in the way the car drives. If you know which service is due, include it in your request.
Not sure what your vehicle needs? Describe the mileage or the concern in the booking notes, or call the workshop. The team can discuss the work before your visit.
When should I arrange a car service?
Start with the time and distance intervals in your vehicle’s service schedule. If you do not know when it was last serviced, share the current odometer reading and any records you have so the workshop can discuss a sensible starting point.
New noises, warning lights or changes in the way the car drives are worth describing separately. Tell us when the symptom happens so the team can discuss whether fault-finding is needed alongside routine maintenance.
Servicing and other workshop work
Servicing and a Warrant of Fitness cover different needs. A service looks after scheduled maintenance; a WOF checks required safety items at the time of inspection. A current WOF does not mean your next service can be skipped.
You can mention more than one job in the same request. Shadz also offers WOF inspections, diagnostics and mechanical repairs, so let the team know if those need attention at the same visit.
Arrange related workshop work
If your warrant is due, see WOF inspections at Shadz. For a specific fault or warning light, read about repairs and diagnostics.
Common questions
What is included in my service and what will it cost?
The scope and price depend on the vehicle and the maintenance due. Share your registration, mileage and service history, then ask the workshop to confirm the work and estimate.
Can I book if I do not have a service history?
Yes. Include your current mileage and anything you know about past work in the notes. If the history is unknown, say so; you do not need to choose parts or diagnose the car yourself.
Do you service my make of car?
Shadz works on all makes and models. Share your vehicle details when you request a visit.
Can I ask for a service and a WOF together?
Yes. List both jobs in the request notes so the workshop can discuss the time needed before confirming your appointment.
